Can someone give an example of the second definition? Kent Wang 12:16, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I know of two more definitions of a skyhook:
- in technical climbing it is a very small hook which attaches to smallest protrusions. it is attached to the harness and allows the climber to rest. (google image search, I am unaware whether the device is manufactured by other brands as well)
- in skateboarding, two skyhooks (external link) can be attached to the topside of the board to facilitate jumping and enhance stability during a ride, very useful on freebords for example. (it is a term used across brands, not a single brand name itself)
If someone would make Skyhook a disambiguation page, I will collect more information on these kinds of skyhook. -- Ravn 12:30, 30 Apr 2004 (UTC)
