[edit] Requested userbox

Tell me how you like this one. I'll make the other two later, but I need a picture for the secret society one. --The Dark Side 23:39, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

{{User:The Dark Side/Original userboxes/Soviet}}

It's not that the link is broken, it's just that no one has created that category yet. It's a good idea to make a category for wikiprojects as it tracks members. Just click on the link and write a few lines about the wikiproject. --The Dark Side 01:48, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
What I meant is that everyone who has this userbox on their userpage will automatically be added to that category. --The Dark Side 01:57, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

To add an image you have to find the template and just replace the image already there. It's usually a good idea to inform the userbox creator too as your change affects everyone with that box. Also, there's no guarantee that you can use any image you find on wikipedia. Many are copyrighted and used under fair use. Go to wikimedia commons if you want images with no restrictions. --The Dark Side 19:41, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] League of Copyeditors

I'm very sorry I haven't had a chance to welcome you earlier, I have been incredibly busy lately. We are glad to have your help. Currently, we have really cut down the backlog of articles in need of copyedit. Therefore, a major goal at this moment is to identify new articles that are in need of work. When you run across them, be sure to tag them for copyediting.

If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to drop me a line. Trusilver 16:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

First put the template on the talk page saying that you have been there and you've copyedited the article. As far as proofreading goes, it's totally up to your own discretion. Personally, if it's a very long article, I will request a proofread just as a second opinion. If it's a short article I will mark it as copyedited and that's it. When you do need a proofreader, you can take your request here. If you need a proofread quickly, you can always feel free to leave me a message and I will take care of it. I like to proofread as my way of mitigating my guilt for not spending as much time as I should with the LoC. Between vandalism control and the three articles I'm working on right now, I have been neglecting my Wikiproject. Trusilver 04:15, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Diplomacy

Yes, the topic does fall under International Law. Try the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, there's also a lot to do with diplomatic immunity & state immunity. Hope that helps. Sephui 09:49, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] League of Copyeditors roll call

Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.

[edit] Requested Userboxes

Hi! On 21:01, 14 July 2007 (UTC), you requested a Userbox for Wikiproject Buses. I created this one, and then went to post it, when I saw that you needed a Userbox for Wikiproject Secret Societies too. Here are both Userboxes. If you don't like either of them, please tell me wwhat you don't like about it, and I will fix it ASAP. Enjoy!
