Skopje City Stadium (Macedonian: Градски стадион Скопје, Gradski Stadion Skopje) is a multi-use stadium in Skopje, Macedonia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FK Rabotnički and FK Vardar. The Republic of Macedonia national football team plays its home matches only in Skopje, too. The Skopje City Stadium is getting a new look. The Construction Company Beton has already removed the North Stand, and laying the foundation of a new stand that will increase the capacity in the North Section by 8,000. The North Stand will be similar in look to the South Stand. Beton is working long shifts to make sure Macedonia plays its first World Cup qualifying match against Scotland at its new venue. Total capacity when completed is projected at 54,000.
