I (  Panser Born  (talk) ) believe this image qualifies for fair use in the The Subtle Knife article because:

  1. No free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information.
  2. The image, used here on the non-profit Wikipedia to illustrate the cover of the book The Subtle Knife, is highly unlikely to cause any problems for the publisher, author or designer Scholastic Point, Philip Pullman and David Scutt respectively.
  3. The image does not inhibit the marketing or promotion of the book.
  4. The cover is already published, at NewLondonJournal.
  5. The material is relevant to the article The Subtle Knife, and thus encyclopedic.
  6. Users are reminded that this image should only be used in the article namespace, and must meet WP:FUC when doing so.
  7. The logo will be used in the article The Subtle Knife, so it will not be orphaned.
  8. This image is properly attributed and tagged.
