[edit] Welcome
Hello Skinfan13, and welcome to Wikipedia. I hope that you enjoy yourself being a Wikipedian, Remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~). Wikipedia is a really great place to be as long as you abide by the rules, including the big one, What Wikipedia Is Not. But as long as you contribute useful information and don't make a mess, nobody will yell at you, you could even rise to the rank of administrator. If you need help, see Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will be along to help.
[edit] The Irish Project
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. This is a non-notable band according to the criteria set out in WP:BAND. Perhaps Myspace would be a better location for this information rather than an encylopedia, until the criteria are satisfied. (aeropagitica) (talk) 07:37, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hell Ship
Hi there. I noticed your edits to the article. They are pretty informative, but please remember to cite your sources so that others can check your work. Note the other references currently listed at the bottom of the article. If you could please add where you got your information from in a similar fashion, that would be greatly appreciated. If it's already in the articles cited below, please note that in your edit summary. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 06:42, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, that's unfortunately not good enough. Please read Wikipedia:Verifiability -- all information has to come from published, reliable sources, even at the expense of truth. I've reverted your edits. howcheng {chat} 16:01, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Belmont green.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Belmont green.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Belmontridgeroad.PNG
Thanks for uploading Image:Belmontridgeroad.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:42, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thought Chamber
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Thought Chamber, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Thought Chamber. meshach (talk) 20:05, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Extremeskins
I have nominated Extremeskins, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Extremeskins. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Angular Perceptions
Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Angular Perceptions, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
