The Phenomenon called Skim Die Meester (Afrikaans: The Master Phantom) is an urban legend with it's origin in Johannesburg, South-Africa.

Allegedly Skim die meester is a Superhero that fights crime in the streets of Johannesburg, and more spesificly the crime infested Hillbrow.

According to the legend he resides in the cultivated and upper-class Northern Suburbs of Jozi where he, with his Gang, fix cars beside the road.

At night though he puts on his purple pajamas and black mask and head south to 'Slam Evil'.

Even though he is classified as a superhero, Skim Die Meester does not posess super-human powers. He is super-smart though and a smooth talker. His most prolific skill is to confuse his ememies with big words and scientific phrases. He is also well known on the rugby blog site [Keo.co.za] as well as the sports prediction game [Superbru.com].
