I’ve pasted the quote from the 'Bethnal Green Eastern Post' (November 1882)in as it stands. I assume something printed in 1882 is out of copyright.[User:Barbara Shack]

[edit] Some readibility changes
The sentences seems a little disjoined, and I took the liberty of re-organizing them into more discreet chunks. I also, reworded the term "continued to witness" as I feel it flavors the document wrong for this kind of encyclopedia, and would turn off some people. I used the phrase "continued unabated" to still give it a strong, resilliant connotation. -rs Unsigned comment by 198.185.18.207
