[edit] Constrained Optimization and lagrange Multipliers

Hello, and thank you for your efforts in creating Constrained Optimization and lagrange Multipliers. I see that this page is a tutorial. Such articles are very welcome at our sister project Wikibooks; see for instance the b:Mathematics bookshelf for text books in mathematics. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia and thus has no place for tutorials.

I marked the page to be transferred to Wikibooks. You can also do it yourself if you wish. Alternatively, you may want to work on the encyclopaedia article on the topic, which can be found at Lagrange multiplier.

I hope this clarifies everything a bit. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me on User talk:Jitse Niesen. Best wishes, Jitse Niesen (talk) 11:49, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia does have an article titled Lagrange multipliers. If another is needed with the title constrained optimization and Lagrange multipliers, then Lagrange should have a capital L and optimization and multipliers should have lower-case initials.
