Skatterman & Snug Brim is a rap duo from Kansas City, Missouri, currently signed to Strange Music.
After releasing projects separately, the two artists would come together to form the duo. The newly formed duo would release their first album, Worth A Million, in 2002 through Below Radar Records. While on the cover, they were listed as "Skatterman & Snug Brim," on the inside of the case it stated "Skatterman & Snug Brim AKA Yung Gunz." The "Yung Gunz" name would soon be dropped due to a name conflict with another group with the same name, but different spelling. (Young Gunz)
After the release of their first album, the duo would sign with Kansas City based label, Strange Music. With a new record deal, they would record a new album, Urban Legendz, which saw release in 2004. The single from the album, "Block Party," would go on to chart #24 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales in October of the same year.[1]
Now, in the year 2008, they prepare for their long awaited follow up to their Urban Legendz album, Word On Tha Streets. The album currently has a scheduled release date of August 12, 2008 with songs like "I'm That Nigga", "Sucka Duckas" and "Heartbreaker." The album will also feature guests, confirmed so far, Tech N9ne, Young Buck, Paul Wall and Rich The Factor.[2]
