[edit] Paul O'Grady

Hi most of the info you added below is already covered in the article, you really need to merge it with what is there already. Thanks Arniep 20:13, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Paul was born in Birkenhead on the Wirral and moved down to London when he was 18. Before finding fame he had a variety of jobs – everything from cleaning to social work.

He first found success as the blonde bombsite herself, Lily Savage. As Lily he was one of Britain’s most popular stand-up comedians and launched her TV career by interviewing celebrities on the bed in Channel 4’s Big Breakfast.

Lily went on to host countless television shows including Lily Live, and the classic Blankety Blank. She could also be seen packing out theatres across the land with the cult musical Prisoner Cell Block H and on various comedy tours.

Lily made her last appearance in the West End pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2004. These days she’s happy out of the limelight living in a convent and Paul doesn’t miss squeezing into her corsets and high heels.

The original Paul O’Grady show launched in October 2004 and became an instant success, taking everyone by surprise including Paul. The show won numerous awards and Paul’s very excited about moving to his new home on Channel 4 and launching The New Paul O’Grady Show.

When he’s not working Paul spends time on his farm. He is a proud subscriber to Small Holder Monthly, although all of his animals are treated as pets and he could never put any of them on the dinner table.

For Paul, the farm and fields are a welcome escape from his working life in London and he loves spending the whole day in his Wellington boots, drinking endless cups of tea, spoiling the animals, and cooking on his aga.

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Paul ogrady main 01.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Brad 12:32, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
