Map of the Sittingbourne Railway Station in relation to other local stations and the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway. The Chatham Main Line run along the bottom, east to west, while the Sheerness Line branches off northwards, west of Sittingbourne.

Sittingbourne railway station is on the Chatham Main Line and the Sheerness Line in north Kent 72 km (44¾ miles) south east of London Victoria. Train services are provided by Southeastern.

The typical off-peak service from the station is:

• 4tph (trains per hour) to London Victoria via the Medway Towns and Bromley South
• 4tph to Faversham, of which two terminate at Faversham and two split there, one portion continuing to Dover Priory via Canterbury East and the other to Ramsgate via Margate
• 2tph to Sheerness-on-Sea

It is anticipated that Sittingbourne will become the terminal for off-peak high speed trains from London St. Pancras, commencing in December 2009. [1]
