Sirajganj Sadar is located at 24.4583° N 89.7000° E . It has 71511 units of house hold and total area 325.77 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Sirajganj Sadar has a population of 389160. Males constitute are 51.54% of the population, and females 48.46%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 195911. Sirajganj Sadar has an average literacy rate of 29.8% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
