Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Baronet

Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Baronet (20 June 1680 – 16 April 1743) was a British politician.
The son of Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Baronet and Margaret Lowther, he was educated at Jesus College, Oxford, where he matriculated in 1698. In 1700, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. Aubrey was Member of Parliament (MP) for Cardiff from 1706 to 1710. Between 1710 and 1711, he was Sheriff of Glamorganshire. Aubrey died, aged 62 and was burief in Boarstall in Buckinghamshire on 23 April 1743.
On 20 June 1701, he married firstly Mary Stealy in St James's in Westminster, around 1708 secondly Frances Jephson, daughter of William Jephson and on 1 February 1725, thirdly Jane Thomas in St Benet's in London. He had two sons, John Aubrey and Thomas Aubrey by his first wife, as well as an illegitimate daughter.
