Sir Charles Seely, 2nd Baronet

Sir Charles Hilton Seely, 2nd Baronet KGStJ (7 July 185926 February 1926) was a Member of Parliament for Lincoln from 1895 to 1906 and for Mansfield from 1916 to 1918. He was a Justice of the Peace for Hampshire and Nottinghamshire and the Deputy Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire.

He was a major land owner in Nottinghamshire where he lived at Sherwood Lodge and the Isle of Wight where he lived at Gatcombe House He was also a Knight of Grace of the Order of St John. He was educated at Harrow School and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was the brother of John Edward Bernard Seely, 1st Baron Mottistone, and father of Sir Hugh Seely, 3rd Baronet and 1st Baron Sherwood. He was the eldest son of Sir Charles Seely, 1st Baronet 1833-1915.. His eldest daughter Violet married the 2nd Viscount Allendale KG.
