how was sinners in the hands of an angry god read? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.7.247 (talk) 04:24, 8 November 2007 (UTC) This appears to be another instance of an unannotated raw text dump of public domain source material. As I've argued in other articles where similar things have happened, I consider this to be bad because

  • This is an encyclopedia, not a library;
  • Source material shouldn't be editable
  • It's probably available elsewhere for those who really want it
  • there's no explanation or "value added" from it being here on Wikipedia.

So I'm putting the text of this sermon on my hitlist as well, and will return to delete it later on. Bryan Derksen, Saturday, April 13, 2002...

  • I've no objection to deleting the text, but please leave the article title, as it was an important aspect of pre-US colonial culture and should be discussed. I suppose I should dig out my notes... groan... -- April
Oh, certainly; I'll be leaving the introductory paragraph that leads into the source material and gives it context, since that's the sort of stuff that should be in an encyclopedia. Bryan Derksen

This REALLY doesn't not fit under what information Wikipedia should offer. This article should offer insights and the history of the work. The text itself should be put on Wikisource. AtmanDave 01:18, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
