Talk:Singelringen

The following was originally added by Aecis on 2005-07-24 at 14:38, :

In 1988 Brazilian woman named Lena Antabi in 1988 conceived of a ring to symbolize that the wearer is single--or only commited--and not married. She named and patented this Stringless Ring.
Apparently, the international patent law, or its enforcement, needs more work.

And the following was appended by 201.64.54.153 on 2006-02-10:

The Stringless Ring is featured in the book "The Art of Erotic Jewellery" by Claude Mazloum (1995 GREMESE EDITORE/ Rome - Italy, ISBN 8873010539).
The artist can be reached at anelbylena@uol.com.br

This content (corrected for spelling and grammar) is not especially pertinent here nor was itintegrated into article the well. Furthermore, the inclusion of an email address is especially questionable. --belg4mit 18.124.2.224 19:44, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

Both of those were added by the anon user (his only contributions ever). All Aecis did was tone down the enthusiasm in my initial version. JIP | Talk 07:32, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

RGjapan (talk ยท contribs) replace almost the entire contents of the article with what can be seen as an advertisement for Singelringen. You'll note those also were his only contributions ever. I'll have to revert the changes and merge some of his material with the previous version, which was originally created by me. But I'm too tired to do it today. JIP | Talk 18:50, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Fixed. JIP | Talk 07:29, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Not with regards to the article itself, but does this ring strike anyone else as absurd?
