Sink (Demo Tape) was released as a cassette tape probably sometime in early 1994. According to one report, only 50 of these demo tapes were ever made.[1][2] The demo tape offers rough recordings of songs from both of their studio albums Sink and Glyph. Of special note, is the first appearance of the track Centerfold, which appears later only as a live track on The Great Release.
The front fold of the insert displays the first incarnation of what would be the Sink studio album. The picture displays spilled blood in a sink, presumably from a suicide attempt. The inside fold has a three picture mosaic. The bottom picture (and the one most obscured) is a painting by John William Waterhouse titled Hylas and the Nymphs and is also the main cover art of Floater's Stiff & Restless demo tape. The middle picture was said to be of Rob Wynia's dog. And finally, the picture on top shows young versions of the band members.
