Singapore Legal Service

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Singapore Legal Service is the collective body of lawyers (Legal Service Officers) who serve in the courts, the Attorney-General's Chambers, and the legal departments of various government ministries and statutory boards in Singapore.[1] There are about 290 Legal Service Officers—about 10% of Singapore's practising lawyers.[2] The Legal Service Commission controls the appointment, dismissal, and disciplinary action on members of the Service.[3]
