The Sindh United Party is the first nationalist political party which aims to have right of People of Sindh over their homeland. It believes that the Sindhis are a nation as historically they had been independent prior to the invasion of the British. This political party was announced on 9 December 2006 in the thousands of political workers convention at G.M Sayed Edifice Jamshoro. The grandson of Veteran national leader Sain G.M Sayed and former deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah announced the foundation of a new party with the nomenclature of the "Sindh United Party." objective of the new party was to represent the people of Sindh in parliament and to struggle for provincial autonomy.
