[edit] Unblock request

This blocked user is asking that his or her block be reviewed:

Why was I blocked. What suspicious usernames are you talking about. My name is Simone Inderjeet Shalimar, and I am a Sikh from Punjab in India. I don't understand why I was blocked when I didn't vandalise anything. Forget vandalising, I haven't even edited a page. Please unblock me.

Note: In some cases, a user may not in fact be blocked, or their block may be expired. Please check your block log. If no blocks are listed, or the latest one has already expired, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.

Administrator use only: If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following as notification.

If you accept the request (note that you MAY NOT unblock your own account), replace the unblock template with unblock, and post the following directly underneath the unblock template:

A brand new user who knows how to use nowiki? Please... --Rory096 17:15, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
I read the block summary. And I am no brand new user. I have used IP addresses earlier. I created an account today.
I've unblocked your account and lifted all autoblocks. I apologize for any inconvenience this prevantative block may have caused. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk/map) 17:22, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Clearing an autoblock

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. If you are still blocked, copy the ... code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. --  Netsnipe  ►  17:46, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
