[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Challengesbytype20002005.pdf

Thanks for uploading Image:Challengesbytype20002005.pdf. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:07, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

What do you want me to do? The tables came off of ALA website. Why am I being Deleted? This is a research paper done for a college class which had to be uploaded for Wikipedia.

Please read Wikipedia:No original research in order to understand why the article is proposed for deletion. The maintenance templates were added because you didn't comply with Wikipedia's style guidelines. Hut 8.5 21:00, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Hi, the reason you can't add the ALA pdf is that the web site's copyright statement states that their content is not available for GDFL or similar license. However, you can add an external link in the article to the pdf document on the ALA site. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information on this topic and your obligations as a Wikipedia editor in this respect. It would also be a good idea to set up this page: User:Simmons83/Global censorship of Youth's books. (Click on the red link, paste your article into the page and then click 'Save'). That way, you can continue to work on it if/when it gets deleted. Finally, please remember to sign all of your comments by adding 4 tildes with no spaces in between ~~~~ after your comment. This will automatically add your username and the date and time of the comment. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 07:57, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
