[edit] Did Simcha Zissel Quote Socrates?

It is the delight of the enlightened or reformers to say that Rabbi Salanter and his students were followers of the reform movement, but that has been proven to be extremely unlikely. Do you think that is where the source of this statement that Simcha Zissel quoted from Socrates - a Greek philosopher who, mind you, did NOT believe in a God, perhaps the statement originated from a Reform source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hearingpocket (talk • contribs) 02:34, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
