Simona was born in Kelowna, British Colombia, Canada.

Simona began modeling when a friend of hers, photographer Owen Bruce introduced her to her mother agent Chantele Nadeau. Soon after this she caught the eyes of modeling agencies worldwide and thus began her blossoming career as Canada's hottest new model. She has walked the prestigious runways of Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs.
