This is a scan of Walt Simonson's autograph (it is discussed on the entry for him). As discussed on the copyright questions page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Media_copyright_questions#Copyright_on_autographs.3F), ""Titles, names, ... mere variations of typographic ornamentation, lettering, or coloring" are not eligible from copyright. This is not a trademark, simply the way he signs his name. See also http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=173430.
There is not an appropriate description in the Licensing menu..."Logo" perhaps? Not exactly.
This image was scanned by me from an autograph of Simonson that I personally own.
