I am working on it right now. she has acted in more than 50 porn movies. You can search her name and more than 134,000 results would come, which makes her way notable enough in my opinion. --Kaaveh 20:43, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

According to moviefilmfest.com she has an Afghan background. That explains why she called herself Miss Afghanistan.

The name of characters or roles that she plays in movies are also not appropriate aliases. Someone who thinks "L'amica di Celi" and "Morena en el gimnasio" are performing aliases is ignorant in reading Spanish and Italian. Vinh1313 (talk) 20:33, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

She first appeared as Miss Afghanistan in several films and later she changed to Silvia Lancome (Lancôme is a Spanish perfume company).

Lancome is not her real last names. She changed that last name when she moved to Spain and began her porn career. She is not Spanish but she often plays role of Spanish woman. She looks very Spanish. I see some Afghans in Barsalona and they look like Spanish.

She didn't appear as miss afghanistan in her first film, she appeared as silvia lancome in her first film (Real Fantasy released in 2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1057981/ Can somebody show information to a film that was made before real fantasy? I believe she made the alias miss afghanistan in late 2001 or early 2002 at a time when the US has just invaded afghanistan. I don't see it there either. Though this source says Martin, Slovakia in its info-box.

Just a reminder that WP:BLP requires any controversial information to be cited to reliable secondary source. Controversial information includes disputed information that apparently is the subject of edit wars. Searchextreme, eurobabeindex, iafd, imdb etc are not considered reliable sources for biographies since they do not have reputations for fact checking as required by WP:V. There is no disputed content currently, User:DWC LR is just breaking some rules (WP:Vandalism, WP:Good faith) by removing her partial filmography and magazine appearances (which cannot be disputed).
No, IMDB can not be used to verify her "birth name". The biography sections of IMDB is not considered a reliable source to verify facts about living people because they get their information from user contributions just like wikipedia. Read WP:BLP again, especially about the part about the presumption of privacy and the need to verify controversial information to a reliable source. If you see a real name that is not properly sourced, you must remove it immediately. About her race, I remember Rocco Siffredi mentioning once that Silvia was half-afghan through her mother but that is personal knowledge for me so that can not be included in the article. ACtually, I've met both Rocco and Ron Jeremy a couple of times at conventions. Look at my user page, you may realise that I photograph and report on the adult industry. Rocco's worked with Silvia and I actually specifically asked him about her at the 2003 AVN Expo. I'm actually neutral about Silvia's ethnicity; I'm just reporting to you personal knowledge. Why are you adamant to the idea that she may be part Afghan? Oh and I definitely trust Wicked (since they shot her) more than IMDB. Vinh1313 (talk) 18:03, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

I've already told you over and over that this information is contentious, and IMDB is not adequate. IMDB biographies are not considered reliable sources by the wikiproject pornography and reliable source examples. Do a search on the RS noticeboard to confirm. Ahem. As Vinh1313 points out, IMDB's bio page is not a reliable source and cannot be used to validate adding her name to the article.
