Danelectro and Silvertone are practically interchangeable from the perspective of a general audience. These two articles should be merged so that readers can get the whole story in one place. --G0zer

Why not just add the information you are thinking of to the Danelectro page and then add something like a product list to this page?Gopherbassist 23:25, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I don't think it's a good idea to merge the two articles. As stated in this article, Silvertone branded guitars were made by a number of different manufacturers, not just Danelectro. --Eloil 23:11, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sears?

I think Silvertone is owned by Samick, not Sears, unless Sears owns Samick, and if that is the case, then it should be said the K-Mart owns it, because K-Mart bought Sears.

Silvertone is currently owned by Samick. It was a Sears trademark long before K-Mart was involved googuse 15:16, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
