The year 1866 is definitly to late for the discovery, because Silver acetylide is already widely used doi = 10.1002/jlac.18651350302. In the year 1860 Berhelo already describes the silver acetylide doi = 10.1002/jlac.18601160108. We have to change this!--Stone 10:22, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
