[edit] How are the award recipients chosen?
The article, unlike Rawlings Gold Glove Award, doesn't discuss how the majors decide who wins. Nor is there a photo of a typical award. Will (Talk - contribs) 23:36, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree - it is rather silly to make a list of ballplayers who have "won" this award without giving any information on the rationale on who is chosen. From looking at the list of winners, it is clear that the winner doen't have to be a "slugger" - though it helps! 74.163.42.144 (talk) 04:09, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
