Silverdale railway station is a railway station that serves the village of Silverdale in Lancashire. It is located on the Furness Line from Barrow-in-Furness to Lancaster.
Generally, only local services operated by Northern Rail stop at the station. However, a few longer-distances services operated by TransPennine Express also use the station.
The Silverdale Shuttle bus service runs between the station and the village, connecting with train arrivals and operating on a "hail and ride" basis. Real time timetable information is provided at all bus stops.[1]
