The Silver Slipper Stakes is a Group 2 Australian thoroughbred horse race for horses aged 2 years old, over a distance of 1100m.
It is held annually at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney. The race is regarded as a traditional lead up for the STC Golden Slipper Stakes.

1963 - 1969 held over 4 furlongs (approx. 800m)
1970 held over 5 furlongs (approx. 1000m)
1971 - 1972 held over 4 furlongs
1973 - 1983 held over 900m
1984 onwards held over 1100m.
1963 – 1978 was a Principal Race
1979 onwards Group 2
