User:Sikh castes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Originally when Guru Gobind Singh made the Khalsa, he banned castes and surname use, instead all Sikhs were either called Singh(Lion) or Kaur(Princess).
Unfortunately, over time caste divisions among Sikhs has increased at an alarming rate. The ideology of our Guru's seems to have fallen by the way side. Lack of education and the ego factor make 'some' Sikhs think they are better than others. All Sikhs are under 'one' brotherhood .We have all fought alongside each other to defend our faith. We all pray the same prayer.
