[edit] Original Thesis

99% of this article is taken straight from the thesis posted on the first website listed under External Links. either the user Sikh Historian both wrote the paper and started this article, or he just copied someone else's original work. i think the correct thing to do is for Sikh Historian to show he has the author's permission to post the thesis (and post a disclaimer in this talk page). or if he IS the same guy, all original material should be deleted (according to policy). the article was set up oddly to begin with: no sections, no formatting, no wiki'ing, no cross-referencing, only 1 picture. the biggest give-away to anyone else who has viewed/edited this article is the phrase that everyone has left in "This paper attempts to outline the main elements...". either wiki this article or delete it. i prefer wiki, cuz there's not enough articles on asian architectural styles, so this one is really needed.
