Thanks to whoever added the list of famous alumni. I would suggest adding William Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ.

[edit] What does not cite any references or sources?

Please list and explan. J. D. Redding 20:13, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Almost everything isn't cited. The only things in the page which are cited are the fraternity colors and which chapter won the McCune award. Please see WP:CITE for more info. This page needs to also be cleaned up as per WP:STYLE. Acidskater 06:20, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Please cite specific points for cleanup if you are going to place that tag in the article. Thanks. J. D. Redding 05:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

I can vouch for most of this information. I'll see If I can find my old pledge book ... but everything seems in line. J. D. Redding 05:25, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Vouching doesn't do anything. I'm not trying to be mean/rude or anything, but unless you can give a true, honest source that anyone can easily look up, the information isn't very useful. Basically, it could all be accounted for as original research, which doesn't pan out well ion the end. If you can find your old pledge manual, that would be a good start. [edit] Notable alumni

I just reverted an edit that deleted 2 members from our notable alumni section. One was the baceball hall of fame gentleman (whos name excapes me as I type right now) and the other was Senitor John Ashcroft (Honarary Beta chapter). I am posting this because I think it was a good faith edit, and want to know why someone thinks these two men shouldn't be included.Coffeepusher (talk) 18:58, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

after looking up the person who deleted the info I found he wrote the following on his talk page (interesting...if I was going to tag him with a vandalism warning it would be the first thing I saw) this is his reason for the removal.
"Removed stan musial and john ashcroft from stg's alumni list cause they were only "honorary" members and thus not real members. Stan musial didn't even goto college, so it's asenine to say he was a member of a college fraternity. 208.44.152.250"
That beeing said, Honorary members still go through the ritual, they have a even more strenuous selection prossess than normal members, and they have full voting rights at conclaves...they are members of Sigma Tau Gamma and should be recognised as suchCoffeepusher (talk) 19:12, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
