This page reads more like "Quotes of Sid Waddell" rather than be an article about the man himself. Waddell's life and career needs expanding - and the quotes reduced. Seedybob2 22:51, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

They are the funniest bit of the piece; they're doing no harm, and they make the page a great link to send people.

Yes, but people just add whatever Sid has said today, wikipedia should show articles in a historical context. There are plenty of other sources to visit for Sid quotes, these should be kept in context to the size of the article.
