Narcissu -Side 2nd- is the prequel to the visual novel Narcissu, produced by stage-nana. A preview version was sold at Comiket 70 for ¥200, and has since been released for free download. On May 15, 2007 the entire game was released and made available for download on stage-nana's website. There is no English version of the full game; however, the authorized translators of Narcissu have announced their intention to finish the translation of Side 2nd by the end of summer 2007, though this date has long since passed.
The plot revolves around on Setsumi, the female heroine from the original visual novel, and on the people and circumstances that formed the character presented in the first game. She will share the limelight with new characters, including Himeko, Yuka and Chihiro.
Side 2nd contains both the prequel and the original Narcissu. Additionally, it also includes both games' soundtracks.
