[edit] What Not To Include
Greetings editors!
In an attempt to put this article on the right track, I have made some significant deletions. The reason for these deletions can be found at Wikischools: What Not To Include. Wikischools is the project that oversees articles about schools at Wikipedia. In short, things that should not be in an article (and will be typically deleted quickly):
1. Students/staff that are not noted for something other than being a student/staff. This means, unless they get well known for something (winning a major national award, committing a heinous crime) don't include them. Articles should not list team captains, coaches, etc. While earning a 1600 SAT is impressive, there are many people who can claim that; the achievement is not notable beyond the school community.
2. Don't include items of short term interest. The fact that a team won an important game this year won't be important after this year. Don't include play-by-play descriptions of games; exciting as they are, they are of relative short term interest.
Best of luck in editing! LonelyBeacon (talk) 20:42, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
