Talk:Sic Sic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I would like to propose a move (and a few edits) of this page to change the name to SICSIC, with Sic Sic and SIC SIC still re-directing to this page (if possible). The reason for this proposal is that SICSIC (all capital letters and all one word) is the official name of the spirit group as outlined in their constitution and as referenced by the University's website for the group. This can be seen at the following address: http://www.bgsu.edu/offices/sa/life/sicsic/page11686.html under the heading of "The Constitution of SICSIC". If there is any objection, please let me know, otherwise I'll go ahead and initiate the move in the next week or so. Tstreet (talk) 04:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually SICSIC, Sic Sic, SIC SIC, and SicSic are all seen on the three or four pages that is the spirit crew's site on bgsu.edu and the last time I saw a Sic Sic sign on campus there were a few that had SIC SIC and others that had Sic Sic, that being said I don't think it is of relative importance to change the title of the article, maybe make a few redirections here and there and maybe write a sentence about how it is spelled a few different ways (i.e. Sic Sic (also spelt SICSIC, SicSic, and SIC SIC) is an anonymous...). In other words it is kind of like Potayto, Potahto; Tomayto, Tomahto. Rik (talk) 06:07, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I can see not wanting to change it necessarily, but I'm not seeing where on the website it's not written "SICSIC": [1][2][3][4]. It's not really a big deal, but I realized it was written incorrectly after looking at the constitution portion of the SICSIC history page and thought I'd suggest it while I was on a bit of a BG spirit crews editing kick. [edit] List of member masks
I noticed in the final section of the article there is a list of the masks currently used. It needs to be changed, but I have yet to find a source to put with it. As of the end of the year, the Arnold Schwarzenegger mask had been replaced by a monkey mask. Also, the new members are also in place. I suppose just keep an eye on the group's site and see when they get all the new ones updated. Tstreet (talk) 16:19, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
