Sick City formed in early 2004 with Josh Youngson (vocals), Joel Neufeld (drums), Dorian Paszkowski (guitar), Dave Grabowski (guitar) and T.J Stevenson (bass). Neufeld, who is the brother of Comeback Kid front-man Andrew Neufeld, secured the band their first show ever playing the CD release show for Comeback Kid’s “Wake The Dead.” Although no longer a young band, Sick City has played on Taste of Chaos and Warped Tour, headlined a WCMA showcase, and just returned home from an unsuccessful tour with It Dies Today (Trustkill Records), and headliners Papa Roach. In 2007, Sick City signed to Smallman Records for Canada and Trustkill Records internationally for the release of their full length album, LightKnife. The band will head to the Tree Sound Studio in Atlanta, GA this March with producers Kenneth Mount & Zach Odom (Cartel, Jimmy Eat World) to record the album out now on Smallman/Trustkill Records.
