I have added how the Siberian Express manifests itself on North America synoptic charts. i.e the large anticylcone over the Yukon or Alaska.

According to numerous articles I found googling, the Siberian Express actually has little or nothing to do with Siberia. It appears to be a shorthand expression denoting the arrival of any air mass of Arctic origins, especially when it occurs in areas where such a frigid air mass is relatively uncommon.
