Siân Reeves

Siân Reeves (born 1965 in West Bromwich, raised in Brewood, South Staffordshire, England and educated at Wolgarston High School, Penkridge) is a British actress. She is most famous for playing the role of Sydney Henshall in the BBC drama series Cutting It.

Reeves appeared in BBC soap opera EastEnders in the summer of 2006 as Elaine Jarvis for five episodes.

In March 2006, she appeared in the BBC singing competition Just the Two of Us. Her singing partner was originally Rick Astley, however after he failed to turn up for the second rehearsal he was replaced by Russell Watson. Sian went on to win the series with her new partner Russell, despite the judges criticising her performance almost every night.

Siân was born Siân Rivers but had to adopt her stage name when she joined Equity (British Actors' Equity Association).

Siân is married and has one child, Bessie, who is aged 12, and currently a member of Girl Guiding UK.

Siân has now returned to the ITV1 series City Lights, where she plays Pauline Scott.
