[edit] Pronunciation

"Pronuced Shun-Skee" is either incorrect or misleading. A reader can easily see it as being pronounced "Shun-ski", which is wrong. It's more like shun-ské. In any case, I don't see pronunciation guides for other footballers or Japanese personalities so it doesn't seem appropriate to have one just for Shunsuke, and if we do have one, it should be in whatever the standard Wikipedia format is. I'm taking it out. Ytny 18:32, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Domestic goals

As Gilberto Silva goals put it to AFD, i remove the section of domestic goals. Matthew_hk tc 02:06, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm putting them back, because they were merged as a result of an older AFD similar to Silva's goal article. It's also not obvious which part of WP:NOT you think the list violates. Neier 02:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Actually the result of the AfD was delete all, not "merge", and if you look at the comments, a strong majority agreed this was an excessive level of detail. It would be totally impractical to provide this much detail for more prolific goalscorers. Djcastel 19:59, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

do we rally need asll his goals on wikipedia? surely other websites provide this level of detail Yatesy1988 (talk) 01:07, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Do we really need anything on wikipedia? Actually, since everything in our articles must be verifiable with reliable sources, the fact that information is available elsewhere is not a good argument for deletion. I've also never understood the premise that detailed information is a bad thing. Neier (talk) 00:46, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Transfer Fee

Someone originally put 2.5 million, changed correctly to 1.25 but someone else put it back to 2.75 million. The correct figure is 1.25 million according to Gordon Strachan who said in the telegraph: "When transfers are reported, you have to add an exaggeration fee and in Glasgow there's an exaggeration percentage on top of that. He would have been good business at £5 million. The fee was quoted at £2.5 million. It was half of that"

Remember that Strachan employs some bizarre tactics with the media though --217.42.207.16 (talk) 02:37, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] International caps

Naka should have 65 caps of June 5, 2007 after the Colombia match. [1]

Please note that somewhere this maybe listed incorrectly as 66. This is incorrect, as Nakamura made his proper debut against Singapore a few days after. The match against Hong Kong in 2000 was not a full A International and is therefore not listed on the JFA website as it is not a full cap. Gaijin84 17:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
