Does anybody have a reference as to why Shrike's name has been changed to Grike in the Northern American editions? Hazel75 12:16, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

No idea. Americans do seem to change things quite a lot, though. Battle Ape 15:02, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

It would seem to be to avoid possible copyright infringement on The Shrike in the Hyperion series; the two characters are quite similar. 90.197.170.208 (talk) 11:57, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
