Shoah foundations are organizations that are formed to further the remembrance of the Holocaust of World War II. There are currently two major foundations that are internationally active.

In 1994, Steven Spielberg constructed the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation (original title), a non-profit organization designed to record testimonies in video format of the remaining survivors of the Holocaust.

The foundation collected over 50,000 interviews over the next few years. Testimonies were received from many different survivors, including Jewish and political prisoners, and survivors of the eugenics policy. In addition to survivor testimony, interviews were also conducted with rescuers, aid providers, and liberators in the war crimes trials.
