[edit] Cleaning/Improvement needed

As good idea as this page seems to me (although it's a shame the original Death Note page doesn't link to this, and not even that of Shinigami Eyes), I think it wise that some one would clean it up. This and the related pages with this one.

Firstly, yeah, the context barely seems visible. Shinigami from Death Note... and that's it. No reason, no description of the beings' itself, I even dare to say just a frank copy-paste from the main character list. Which is rather sad. And I also think the descriptions in the List article should be shortened, with the linking here and the improvement of the ones here.

Should I even mention the worth of describing the rules the Shinigami have to follow, their relations with humans, their phisionomy etc etc?

Just my two cent, sorry I don't have time to do it myself, hope someone experienced will (eventually) read this and do something about it. Trucizna 21:46, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vlcsnap-264430.png

Image:Vlcsnap-264430.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Hard to Find

Page name should probably be changed. I suggest "Death Note Shinigami".

PS: I took me four minutes to find this page via link through another page as this does not show up in search. 777devil777 (talk) 20:28, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Shinigami (Death Note) is the article name we should use per the Manual of Style. I've created the redirect Death Note Shinigami to this article, per your request. When I searched for "Death Note Shinigami" prior to making the redirect, this article was the first one listed. This article is also linked to by the Shinigami article, so I don't see why it would take so long to find (unless you didn't use the word "shinigami"). What were you searching for? I could create more redirects based on that. --Eruhildo (talk) 21:34, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ryuk/The Creeper: Similarities?

Am I the only one here who thinks that Ryuk has some (admittedly superficial) similarilties to the DC Comics character The Creeper, particularly the recent Steve Niles/Justiniano miniseries? Purely speculation, I realise; just felt it warranted a small mention. Radical AdZ (talk) 22:52, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
