[edit] Objection to renaming to "Shimadzu"

I suggest to revert the name of this article to Shimadzu Corporation, or rename to Shimadzu Corp. because;

  1. "Shimadzu", or spelled "Shimazu", is one of Japanese surnames derived from Shimazu family.
  2. In this case the word "Corporation" is a part of the company's name, and it is essential to clarify that this article describes the company of "Shimadzu Corporation" (Shimadzu Seisakusho; 島津製作所).

I am going to renaming this article to "Shimadzu Corp." because it seems to be no objection to my suggestion. --J o 15:35, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
