The "Ascii Art" Shii looks a bit messed up when I view it. How does it look to everyone else? -KevinJr42 21:46, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- It needs Japanese font MS PMincho. Someone should change it to a screenshot. Ashibaka tock 20:13, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- It didn't even look right with the proper font for me, replaced with image. Might have been better with SVG but I'm lazy. kotepho 22:52, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Poor Shii
I cried when I saw the ending. She's too cute to die! Why did it have to be sad? WAH WAH
Shii probably didn't die. She just went off to find another "star", or true love. --Alexie 05:26, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia isn't a forum, but someone confirmed that she went to find Giko Cat. Seritinajii 12:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Seri
I'm cautious about happy endings in general. Who confirmed it and how can they be sure? Caliban 04:27, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
The previous iteration of the Shii-chan article, IIRC, commented on the ambiguous nature of the ending, rather than presuming a happy ending. Unless some sort of cite to the original creator can be found, I think it would be best to revert to that edit. 76.232.60.6 11:45, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shii-CHAN
In my opinion "chan" should be cleared. Remember that english is not japanese :).
- -chan should stay, since the article is about a cat character who's literal name is "Shii-chan". Just like all the other internet meme characters and such, the -chan/-tan suffix is considered part of the name, the same as Domo-kun always keeps the -kun suffix (male equivalent to -chan).
