Shishman

Shishman (Bulgarian: Шишман), also Shishmanovtsi (Шишмановци), was a medieval Bulgarian royal dynasty of partial [1] Cuman origin.[2]
The Shishman dynasty ruled the Second Bulgarian Empire during significant periods of its existence. Among its representatives were:
- Ivan Shishman of Bulgaria
- Ivan Stephen of Bulgaria
- Michael Shishman of Bulgaria
- Ivan Alexander of Bulgaria (Sratsimir branch)
- Patriarch Joseph II of Constantinople
