The Shire of Buloke is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the north-western part of the state and is named after the tree buloke or bulloak Allocasuarina luehmannii which is common in the area. It includes the towns of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Sea Lake and Wycheproof in addition to many smaller localities. It has an area of 8,004 square kilometres. In 2006 it had a population of 6,853. It was formed in 1995 from the merger of the Shire of Wycheproof, Shire of Birchip, Shire of Charlton, Shire of Donald, and parts of the Shire of Kara Kara.
