Ship Nunatak
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ship Nunatak () is a very striking nunatak which rises above the ice near the center of the upper portion of Harlin Glacier, in the Usarp Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. A descriptive name applied by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) because of the appearance of the feature, resembling that of a ship at sea.
