Shinji Mori (Japanese: 森慎二, born September 12, 1974, in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan) is a right-handed pitcher who had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Originally slated to compete for the Devil Ray's closer job during the 2006 MLB season, he tore the labrum in his shoulder and missed the rest of the season. He was subsequently released by the Devil Rays.
